SU-56.  American 1820-1830 era Militia Infantry Officer's Sword marked on the blade by the manufacturer of AW Spies.   AW Spies was active at producing swords from about 1820 to 1851.  The 1820s eagle head officer's swords were carried and popular with officers of the infantry up to and including the Civil War.  This sword is in overall good condition for it's age.  There are minor chips on the mother-of-peal handle near the eagle head on each side and the cross guard is a little loose and can be slightly twisted from side to side.  There is light surface rust (or darkening) on areas of the blade especially near the tip, however, nothing too major or detracting.  Also the gold and blue paneling design on blade is in decent basic condition.  Overall, a very nice sword that displays extremely well........$2,100.

SU-53.  U.S.  Marine Corps Officers Sword with engraved Blade.  Blade is about 28 3/4"long, it is bright and clean, it is engraved with design work and with the wording  "United States Marines" and has the Marine corps insignia. However this one is not an official USMC approved issue sword. The quality is not as good on this one as official approved issues and it does not have a USMC serial number on the back runner.  The scabbard has a piece of cork or something stuck in it, so the blade will no longer go all the way in. Clearing it can be your Project, thats why I am only charging......$100.

SU-52.  U.S.  Model 1902 Officers Sword.  This one has a 30" bright and clean engraved issue blade. However, this blade has a second type eagle on it.  Instead of the Military spread winged eagle, this one has the Government Creast style Eagle on it, plus the intwinded style U.S. on the other side.  it is a second variant engraving. The blade is bright and clean, it is maker marked  "N.S. Meyer Inc. trade mark  Colonial  made in U.S.A."  This sword also has a period brown leather porteepe knot attached to the hand guard. The scabbard is a very clean undamaged 02 issue.....$295.
