Heart, in a WWII presentation case also with it is its ribbon bar &

Y-MU/1068. Rare U.S. Group for an American Seaman -- This
U.S. Seaman served in the Dominican Campaign of 1916 The Mexican
Campaigns of 1917 and on the Yangtze River Parol Force of the 1920s and
although WW1 --He Retired in 1933 and was then recalled
during WWII -- This group has a number of medals ((Nothing rare,
but a number of medals showing the long and honorable service to his
country)) also with this group are about 39 original signed and
dated period documents and about 25 photo copies of originals
documents. This Seamans name was (( Robert Anderson )) There are
original certificates from the Department of the Navy dated 1917 of him
being appointed a Warrant Officer and Certificates dated 1918
appointing him a Lieutenant plus many more original Certificates &
documents from the U.S. Navy Department all made out to LT Robert
Anderson and dated 1919, 1920, 1921, 1923, &
1924. In 1924 these documnets show he was serving on the
Gunboat "PG21" U.S.S. Asheville on the Yangtze River
Patrol Force in Shanghai China... There is an original award
documnet to Lt. Robert Anderson for the Dominican Campaign medal, which
show the medal as medal "167" and was awarded for his service in
the Dominican Campaign of 1916 while on the "U.S.S.
Kentucky" -- also in this group is a signed acceptance receipt,
signed by Robert Anderson for the Mexican Campaign Medal of
1917 numbered "6512" Both the Dominican and Mexican
Campaign medals in this group match the serial numbers shown on these
documents. Documnets go all the way to one dated 1945 for award of
the "American Campaign Medal" Original records with this
group show he enlisted in the Navy in 1910 and was discharged on July
1914 - He re-enlisted in the Navy July 1914 and served continuously on
active duty until Jan 1933 Then after the start of WWII he ask to be
recalled and was, serving until 1946. Have a look at the pictures
there are a number of medals in this group, to include the scarce
numbered issue "Yangtze Forces service Medal" and also his
original Navy Boatswains pipe or Bosuns Whistle which is engraved on
the side U.S.S. Asheville -- this group has a lot of items even
his WW1 and pre-ww1 dog tags, pictures of the U.S.S. Asheville and
pictures of Lt. Anderson with his crew on the U.S.S. Asheville... A
