HGi-178.  Imperial German Pickelhaube  (Spiked Helmet )  Field cover... This cover was used to protect the helmet when stored, it was also used to wear over the helmet when the Officer was on the field of combat, It provented the helmets bright spike and insignia from reflecting the sun and giving away the Officers position and the position of his unit......$395.00

HGi-177.  Imperial German Pickelhaube  (Spiked Helmet )  for a Prussian Wachmeister of Police this is an 1898 issue Pickelhaube of the Berlin Schutzmannschaft --- This is a top quality Wachtmeister's Pickelhaube from the Berlin Police, the Helmets leather body is in fine condition just showing the average age wear for a piece like this. All the helmets fixtures such as the Spike, trim and front plate insignia are silver colored.  Front plate has a Wilhelm Cypher in the center with a large Hohenzollern Crown plus the motto  "In Treue Fest" which is the motto for Bavaria and the dates 1848 - 1898... This is a fine pre-WW1 Berlin Police issue Spiked Helmet from the late 1800's .......$ 1,750.00

HGi-176.  Imperial German Pickelhaube  (Spiked Helmet)  for an Infantry enlisted man with a Saxony Line Infantry Regiment for Volunteer forces... This helmets body is in very good overall condition, some minor spidering which is not unusual on Imperial spiked Helmets.  The helmet spike is gilt, the Saxon State/Regt front plate is gilt with silver crown & coat-of-arms.  This helmet also has its enlisted mans chinStrap and state Kokarden and an intact liner. A very nice Infantry Regt Helmet.........$1,595.00

soldiers cap... ((sometimes called a pillbox cap)) It is a field issue cap with Prussian insignia, there are some moth holes... Also with this cap is an imperial era picture of a solider wearing a cap just like this one......$395.00
