D-W30. Victorian Regimental Scottish Highlanders Dirk, This
is a very fine quality piece, the Ebony handle, is undamaged, the gilt
work on this piece has very fine three dimentional depth to it with
Victorian
artisan workmanship, the eating utensils still sit firmly in their
scabbard
pockets. The blade has a scallopped back and is engraved with
Victoria's
Crown & Cipher. The large pommel stone has been damaged and has
chips
out of it, but does not detract from the overall historical beauty of
this
piece. The blade is maker makred from the firm of " Gemmell & Co 4
Royal Exchang Sq Glasgow " The scabbard also has the Regimental badge
of
the Scottish Highland Light Infantry Regiment. Overall Condition very
good
